KELLER A JONES

The most deeply embedded memories I have are of riding horseback along winding trails, through running creeks, up rocky paths—while listening to my horse’s rhythmic clopping, feeling the wind swirl my long brown hair, and savoring the feel of brush gently palming my face. In this sacred silence, my hands naturally grabbed at branches and pungent pine boughs, while grazing peeling barks, and reaching for blackberries from wild, pregnant bushes. This is why I paint landscape~my passion, my fortress.
 

Ms. Jones earned a Bachelors of Fine Art in Graphic Design from the University of Georgia, a Masters of Liberal Arts in Fine Art from Spring Hill College, and a Masters of Arts in Cinema Studies from Savannah College of Art and Design. Ms. Jones participated in the 1977 Cortona, Italy, Study Abroad Program. 

Ms. Jones paints in oil, utilizing foils, and oil pastels and soft pastels.
